The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has intensified its investigation into financial misconduct allegations involving the Al Falah Group and Trust, uncovering that its arrested chairman may have used forged documents to acquire land parcels in Delhi.

Al Falah University in Faridabad is under scrutiny due to its association with the November 10 Red Fort blast, which featured a deadly car explosion involving a doctor from its medical college. The ED is reviewing multiple instances of alleged document forgery related to land acquisitions by a trust connected to Al Falah's chairman, Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui.

Siddiqui, apprehended by the ED on November 18, faces charges related to money laundering and defrauding students, with allegations of generating Rs 415 crore dishonestly. Investigators are working to identify and evaluate the group's assets across India, amid claims of funds being diverted abroad, as the chairman's control over the university's financial operations raises further concerns.
