On Friday night, Parli Viajnath town in Beed district was rocked by an incident involving a land developer firing seven rounds in the air from an illegal weapon.

This alarming event prompted immediate police attention, causing widespread panic among the residents.

Local authorities have identified the suspect as 45-year-old Rahul Arun Tak. Despite being booked, Tak remains at large, and police have recovered two empty cartridges from the scene of the crime. High-ranking officers, including Superintendent of Police Navneet Kanwat and Ambajogai Additional Superintendent of Police Chetna Tidke, are heading the probe.
