A 27-year-old man was shot dead in a violent encounter in Delhi's Naveen Shahadara, authorities reported on Saturday.
The shooting, occurring outside a sweets shop, was alerted via PCR call at 11.09 pm on Friday, police stated. Gagan Aahi, the victim, was found with a gunshot wound and later declared dead at Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital.
Two bike-riding assailants are suspected in the attack, as per preliminary investigations. Both suspects, Kunal and Akshit, have since been arrested, with crucial evidence such as the pistol and motorcycle recovered. Investigators link the motive to a prior altercation, surmising the group had planned a reconciliation that turned violent.
