Tragedy on Delhi Streets: Mercedes SUV Crash Claims Life

A 23-year-old man died when a Mercedes SUV rammed into pedestrians near a Delhi mall. Police reported that the crash, involving a vehicle driven by Shivam, resulted in serious injuries to two others. Legal proceedings are ongoing as investigations continue into this tragic incident.

A tragic accident unfolded in Delhi's Vasant Kunj area early Sunday morning, claiming the life of a young man and injuring two others when a Mercedes SUV rammed into them. The incident occurred near a mall on Nelson Mandela Marg.

The accident was reported to the Vasant Kunj North police station at approximately 2.33 am. Upon reaching the site, officers found the vehicle, a Mercedes G63, severely damaged and three victims, all restaurant employees, lying injured. Rohit, aged 23, was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.

The accused driver, Shivam from Karol Bagh, has been apprehended. He was accompanied by family while returning from a wedding. Preliminary inquiries suggest the crash occurred due to a loss of vehicle balance after a road diversion. Legal actions are in progress as further investigations continue.
