The victim, identified as Sachin, suffered a severe head injury after being attacked by his elder brother, Shashikant, with a stick. Despite the grave injury, Sachin declined hospital treatment and succumbed to his injuries at home the following day.
Authorities have detained Shashikant, aged 44, who has a history of alcohol and cannabis use. Witnesses claim Shashikant, inebriated at the time, attacked other family members before striking Sachin. The police are investigating the case based on a filed complaint.
