Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren appeared before an MP-MLA court in connection with a case of alleged non-compliance with Enforcement Directorate (ED) summons, sources revealed.

To ensure his legal obligations, the chief minister submitted two bail bonds of Rs 7,000 each. Future proceedings will see Soren represented by his legal counsel, with the next hearing scheduled for December 12.

This court appearance stems from the ED's pursuit of Soren over a land scam investigation, highlighting his absence from prior questioning sessions despite repeated notices.
