In a dramatic turn of events reminiscent of Bollywood, five individuals were apprehended for posing as enforcement officials and looting approximately 1 kg of gold from a jewelry workshop in central Delhi.
The heist, inspired by the film 'Special 26', involved the culprits staging a fake raid on November 27, impersonating Delhi Police and income tax officials to 'confiscate' the gold.
A Delhi government employee and others, including one claiming to be an Officer on Special Duty in the Madhya Pradesh government, were arrested after a sprawling 72-hour chase across Delhi-NCR and various Haryana districts.
