A 58-year-old biology teacher, serving as a booth level officer (BLO) for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, tragically passed away in Modinagar's Nehru Nagar residence, officials reported.

Lal Mohan Singh, a teacher at Modi Science and Commerce Inter College, reportedly succumbed to a brain hemorrhage. The college principal indicated that Singh was under severe pressure due to door-to-door verification work.

The ongoing SIR duty in the Sahibabad Assembly constituency has been marked by allegations of overwork and stress, leading to multiple cases of distress among officials in Uttar Pradesh. The administration continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding Singh's death.
