Bihar Man Arrested in Odisha JE Exam Paper Leak

The Odisha Police arrested 35-year-old Raj Mohan Prasad from Bihar in connection with the JE (civil) exam 2023 question paper leak. The postponed recruitment exam was initially scheduled for July 16. Prasad, involved in distributing leaked papers, was apprehended after changing locations multiple times since the incident.

The Odisha Police have made a significant breakthrough by arresting Raj Mohan Prasad, 35, from Bihar. He is connected to the notorious question paper leak scandal concerning the Junior Engineer (civil) exam of 2023. Police officials confirmed the arrest on Sunday, emphasizing this as a crucial development in the ongoing investigation.

Prasad, a native of Bihar's Samastipur district, was apprehended by the Crime Branch and subsequently brought to Odisha on Sunday. The arrest adds to the count, making a total of 27 individuals detained in relation to this case.

The recruitment examination, initially slated for July 16, 2023, had to be postponed following the leak. The breakthrough came after Prasad, along with others, allegedly conducted a secret meeting with candidates at a hotel near Digha in West Bengal. A strategic raid by the Odisha Police resulted in multiple arrests, although Prasad initially evaded capture by frequently changing his location.
