The Puducherry police have announced a series of measures to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) public meeting. Scheduled for December 9, the meeting at the Expo ground will be addressed by TVK chief Vijay.
Senior Superintendent of Police R Kalaivanan released an advisory highlighting crowd control and safety protocols following the refusal to permit a road show. Attendance is capped at 5,000, and residents from neighboring Tamil Nadu are discouraged from attending to avoid disruptions.
The police have set specific entry restrictions, allowing only individuals with valid QR codes and prohibiting entry for children, pregnant women, and the elderly. Organizers are required to ensure the availability of drinking water, toilets, medical teams, fire engines, and enclosures on site.
