On Monday, a Delhi court extended the National Investigation Agency (NIA) custody of three doctors and a preacher connected to the November 10 Red Fort blast by four days.

The suspects—Dr. Muzammil Ganai, Dr. Adeel Rather, Dr. Shaheena Saeed, and Maulvi Irfan Ahmed Wagay—appeared before Principal and Sessions Judge Anju Bajaj Chandna after their initial 10-day custody period ended. The proceedings were held under strict security measures at the Patiala House district court, without media coverage.

The case, involving a complex 'white-collar' terror module, has led to seven arrests. The NIA is working alongside state police in a multi-state operation to trace more suspects associated with the attack that included a suicide bombing plotted since last year, allegedly by Dr. Umar-un-Nabi.
