Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has highlighted the critical role of the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund in supporting the families of soldiers who endure hardships and sacrifice for the nation.
Fadnavis launched the fund collection initiative at his official residence, Ramgiri, announcing a substantial increase in financial aid from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 1 crore to bolster this effort.
He praised the Indian Army's valor and called on citizens to contribute to the fund, which aids ex-servicemen and their dependents. In Nagpur, notable contributions and successful fundraising efforts were commended during the event.
