In a significant development in the Red Fort blast case, a Delhi court has extended the NIA custody of Amir Rashid Ali by seven days. The extension follows Amir's initial detention on December 2, marking continued investigative proceedings.

Amir Rashid Ali, a resident of Jammu and Kashmir, faces allegations of facilitating the deadly explosion at Delhi's Red Fort. Arrested on November 16, Amir's connection to the blast stems from his involvement with a vehicle used as an IED, further implicating his role in the terror plot.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has apprehended seven suspects linked to the case, which is connected to a 'white collar' terror module uncovered by Jammu and Kashmir Police. Ongoing investigations have interrogated 73 witnesses, with authorities focusing on a car registered in Amir's name and additional evidence, including a second vehicle under examination.
