Maharashtra's Mega Drug Bust: Investigations Underway

Maharashtra's Minister Pankaj Bhoyar confirmed an ongoing investigation into a drug racket in Wardha. The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence seized 128 kg of mephedrone, worth Rs 192 crore, and arrested three individuals. The authorities have since sealed the manufacturing unit and are tracing the racket's origins.

Maharashtra is witnessing a major crackdown on illegal drug activities as authorities delve deeper into a significant drug racket uncovered in Wardha. Minister of State for Home, Pankaj Bhoyar, revealed that investigations are in progress.

This announcement follows the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence's extensive operation, during which officers dismantled a mephedrone manufacturing unit, seizing 128 kg of the banned substance valued at Rs 192 crore.

Three individuals, including the alleged mastermind, were apprehended. Bhoyar emphasized that local police have been instructed to intensify efforts in uncovering the racket's origins and operations.
