Bengaluru Police recently cracked a multi-layered burglary and robbery case, arresting a man linked to several house break-ins, along with four individuals who assaulted and robbed him of the stolen goods. The unfolding of this dramatic case began with a complaint from Mandur village.
The man, Ishay Raj, was initially apprehended while attempting to sell a stolen gold chain. During interrogation, he confessed to stealing gold and cash, amounting to a staggering Rs 70 lakhs, from multiple homes in Avalahalli limits.
The investigation took a twist when Raj revealed the incident of being robbed by four unknown men after his initial theft, prompting him to commit two more burglaries on the same night. The police subsequently arrested the alleged robbers, recovering significant amounts of stolen property, thus closing a complex case.
