The Chief of Defence Staff, General Anil Chauhan, stated a major revolution is underway in warfare. Speaking at the Air Force Academy in Dundigal, he emphasized the necessity for the Indian Defence forces to adapt to changes and incorporate reforms to maintain relevance and preparedness.
He celebrated India's strengths in robust institutions and the professionalism of its armed forces during the Combined Graduation Parade of the 216 Course. Chauhan noted the ongoing transformation in the defense landscape with a focus on integrated structures, joint operations, and self-reliance, encapsulated in India's vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
The General also underlined the importance of innovation in future battles, stressing that success would hinge on mastering new frontiers. He illustrated this through the motto 'Jai,' standing for jointness, self-reliance, and innovation, envisioning a cohesive, technologically advanced, and self-sustaining defense framework for India.
