Man Arrested for Alleged Kidnapping and Rape of Minor in India
A 21-year-old man, Baburam, has been arrested for allegedly kidnapping a 17-year-old girl and repeatedly raping her over 25 days in Mumbai and Pune. The incident came to light after the girl's father filed a complaint. Police have added charges of rape under relevant laws.

A 21-year-old man named Baburam has been apprehended for allegedly abducting and sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl. The police say he took her to Mumbai and Pune, perpetuating the crime over a 25-day period.
The incident was reported after the girl's father reached out to the authorities, prompting a case against Baburam. Chitbaragaon Station Officer Dinesh Pathak stated that the minor was eventually rescued.
Following the minor's detailed statement, additional charges, including those under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, were added to the case. Baburam was arrested near Dharmapur and subsequently jailed.
