Family Tragedy: Father and Son Arrested for Murder in Deoghar

In a shocking crime in Jharkhand's Deoghar district, police have arrested a father and son for allegedly murdering a family member. The incident unfolded on December 6, with Nitesh Nandi identified as the victim.

Authorities stated that Nitesh's half-burnt body was found at Shankarpur Joria, under Devipur police station limits. Following this, Superintendent of Police Saurabh formed a special investigation team to pursue the case.

Evidence led to the arrest of Nitesh's father, Dilip Nandi, aged 60, and brother Gautam, aged 30. The family dispute allegedly turned violent, resulting in Nitesh's death. The accused attempted to dispose of the body by burning it, using an autorickshaw for transport. The vehicle has been confiscated by police.
