In a significant development, police have apprehended two additional suspects connected to the fatal shooting of a man in Baradwari, Jamshedpur, earlier this month. Officials reported the arrests on Saturday.

The detentions follow the surrender of the main suspect at a local court, according to Superintendent of Police (City) Kumar Sivashish. Shekhar Sandil was allegedly shot dead overnight between December 2 and 3 in Baradwari, Sitaramdera police station's jurisdiction, police confirmed.

Interrogation of the principal suspect revealed his accomplices, leading to their capture on Friday. Authorities also seized the gun and motorbike used in the murder. Past enmity between the victim and suspects, who were neighbors in Devnagar, is suspected to have fueled the crime. Further investigations are underway.
