Security forces successfully neutralized three Naxalites, including a female combatant, during a firefight on a forested hill in Sukma district, Chhattisgarh, Thursday morning, officials confirmed.
The encounter unfolded when District Reserve Guard personnel engaged suspected Maoist operatives following intelligence reports of their presence in the Golapalli police station area.
This action contributes to the elimination of 284 Naxalites in Chhattisgarh this year alone, showcasing intensified efforts in the Bastar division, which includes Sukma, Bijapur, and Dantewada among its seven districts.
