In a severe escalation, Ukrainian drones targeted the Russian port of Rostov-on-Don and the town of Bataysk, leaving three dead, including two crew members of a cargo vessel. The attack occurred overnight, causing significant alarm in the southern Rostov region, as reported by local authorities.
Governor Yuri Slyusar, through a statement on Telegram, confirmed that the fire on the vessel was successfully extinguished. However, the incident resulted in injuries to three additional crew members, deepening the tragedy and chaos of the moment.
Further havoc unfolded in Bataysk, where seven others were injured during the drone assault. These strikes underscore the intensifying conflict between Ukraine and Russia, provoking heightened security concerns across the region.
