Tragic End: Landlord Killed Over Rent Dispute

A 48-year-old woman named Deepshikha Sharma was allegedly killed by her tenants over a rent dispute in Aura Chimera Society. Her body was found in a red bag. Police have arrested the tenant couple, Ajay and Akriti Gupta, and are continuing the investigation.

A tragic rent dispute in Aura Chimera Society led to the alleged murder of a 48-year-old woman, Deepshikha Sharma, on Wednesday night. Police arrived at the scene when concerns arose after she failed to return from collecting rent.

According to Assistant Commissioner of Police Nandgram Upasna Pandey, Deepshikha and her husband owned two flats in the complex, one of which was rented out to the accused couple, Ajay and Akriti Gupta. Her decomposed body was found stuffed in a red bag inside the rented apartment.

The discovery was made when a maid accompanied by neighbors searched for Deepshikha. The police quickly arrested the tenant couple, who now face charges. The body has been sent for autopsy, and further investigations are ongoing.
