The Central government disclosed on Thursday that appointment letters distributed through Rozgar Melas are recorded by the respective ministries and organizations involved. Launched in October 2022, Rozgar Melas have become vital for job creation among the youth.
According to Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State for Personnel, 17 national-level Rozgar Mela events have occurred in 40-50 cities across India, issuing numerous appointment letters. This initiative is part of the government's commitment to prioritize employment generation.
The Rozgar Mela serves as a critical mechanism for filling vacancies within Central government bodies and enhancing service delivery. Additionally, it supports equitable access to employment opportunities through initiatives like computer-based exams and regional language provisions, benefiting diverse candidates, including those from remote areas.
