Daring Buffalo Heist Ringleaders Captured

Four men involved in a buffalo theft were arrested following a police encounter. The accused were caught planning another theft. The incident involved an armed confrontation, injuring one suspect who was later hospitalized. The arrests solved multiple theft cases in Kaushambi district.

In a dramatic turn of events, four men have been arrested in connection with a string of buffalo thefts in Kaushambi district, officials confirmed on Friday.

On December 18, Rahul Yadav from Shamshabad village filed a report that three of his buffaloes were stolen. The suspects, Firoz, Guddu, and Dilshad, were residents of the Karari police area. Acting swiftly on the complaint, an FIR was launched. During the night of December 18-19, police received a tip-off that the accused were near Patauna bridge, plotting further thefts.

A police team successfully intercepted and apprehended the trio at the bridge. On interrogation, they admitted to their involvement in several thefts and revealed an accomplice on Raghavapur road. Aryan alias Barati Lal engaged in a shootout upon police arrival at the location and was injured in the leg. A firearm was found on him, and he is now receiving treatment at the district hospital.
