In a grim series of events, two fatal road accidents in Jharkhand's Garhwa and Palamu districts claimed six lives over the weekend, according to police reports. The first incident was a car-truck collision in Garhwa's Bel Champa area where four Palamu residents lost their lives.
Authorities retrieved the bodies using a gas cutter due to the severe impact, which pushed the vehicle into a nearby house. The victims were returning from a wedding at the time of the accident, prompting an ongoing investigation into the tragic incident.
In another accident in Palamu's Pipra Konwai area, a motorcycle collided with a car, resulting in two fatalities. One survivor was transferred to a medical college for further treatment as the police continue their investigation.
