In a startling incident in the Khairthal-Tijara district of Rajasthan, villagers allegedly attacked a man named Sahun Khan, accusing him of cow smuggling. This event has left Khan critically injured, according to police reports on Wednesday.
The altercation occurred on the night dividing Monday and Tuesday. Sahun Khan, along with three others, allegedly tried to steal three cows from a field. The villagers, noticing their presence, managed to catch Khan while two others escaped, a police official stated.
Doctors at Alwar district hospital revealed that Khan sustained severe fractures requiring surgery, prompting his referral to Jaipur. The authorities have launched a probe into the matter, seeking to determine the full circumstances of the attempted smuggling and subsequent violence.
