A special POCSO court in Sahatwar has handed down a 25-year jail sentence to Ajay Paswan for the heinous crimes of unnatural rape, assault, and threatening to kill a minor.

The sentence, along with a Rs 29,000 fine, was pronounced by Special Judge Pratham Kant after hearing all parties involved, according to Superintendent of Police Omveer Singh.

The case stemmed from an incident on October 12, 2023, when the victim, a 13-year-old boy, was taken to a secluded area and assaulted by Paswan. Following the father's complaint, a case was filed, leading to Paswan's conviction under relevant legal sections.
