Delhi Police Nab Suspect with Illegal Firearm in Central Delhi

The Delhi Police have successfully apprehended a 24-year-old male suspect for alleged possession of an illegal firearm and live ammunition, an official revealed on Thursday.
Identified as Sagar Babbar, a native of Jhandewalan, the suspect was detained on Tuesday in Central Delhi's Motia Khan area. His arrest followed a police operation prompted by a tip-off regarding his illegal activities.
Upon interception, law enforcement officials discovered a country-made pistol and five live cartridges in his possession. The weapon was loaded at the time of the arrest. Investigators learned the firearm was supplied by an associate who remains at large. An FIR has been registered, and the investigation continues.
