Tragedy Unveiled: Missing Family Found Dead in Muzaffarpur
The bodies of a woman, Mamta Kumari, and her three children were found five days after they went missing in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Her husband alleged kidnapping and murder. Police made a grim discovery on Thursday, recovering the bodies of Mamta Kumari and her three young children in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district, five days after they were reported missing.
The victims were identified as Mamta (22), her sons Aditya (6) and Ankush (4), and daughter Kriti (2). Husband Krishna Mohan Kumar alleged they were kidnapped and murdered, as their bodies were found near Chandwara bridge in the Ahiyapur police area.
Muzaffarpur Senior Superintendent of Police Kantesh Kumar Mishra stated that a Special Investigation Team has been formed to investigate. Initial reports suggested threats were received on January 12. The cause of death will be determined following a post-mortem examination.
