The incident came to light when police noticed the vehicle around midnight near Anandgad Naka in Vikhroli West, prompting further investigation.

Police found that the vehicle was wrongly associated with political authority, and while none of the individuals were public officials, the sticker's misuse led to an immediate response by local law enforcement. The vehicle has been seized, and charges have been filed under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhit.
