A shocking tale of love, betrayal, and murder has emerged from Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur district. On Friday, police arrested a woman accused of conspiring with her lover to kill her husband, Matu. This arrest marks a pivotal turn in the ongoing investigation into the gruesome crime.

The incident came to light when Matu was found stabbed to death five months ago in Shimlana village. Initially, Matu's friend Saurabh, along with his family members, were accused. Although Saurabh was swiftly arrested, police could not find concrete evidence against the others.

With further probing, Matu's wife, Pooja, became the prime suspect. Despite evading police for months, a tip-off led to her capture. During interrogation, she confessed to orchestrating the murder with Saurabh, citing that her husband was an obstacle in their illicit affair. She has been taken into judicial custody.
