A vegetable vendor met a tragic end after being trampled by an elephant in Jharkhand's Bokaro district, police reported on Monday.
The incident took place on Sunday night near Simrabeda Mahto Tola in the Mahuadanr police station area. The vendor, traveling home, encountered an elephant, which attacked him.
According to reports, the elephant used its trunk to pull the man out of his open four-wheeler before fatally trampling him. Local authorities, including Bokaro divisional forest officer Sandeep Sinde, are probing the circumstances of the attack.
