Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar unveiled a special drive aimed at clearing all pending land measurement applications by January 31. The initiative is part of the government's Saat Nischay-3 programme, specifically the seventh resolve, 'Sabka Samman Jeevan Aasan,' which seeks to alleviate daily challenges faced by citizens.
In a statement on social media, Kumar emphasized that these reforms would significantly benefit the public by simplifying and streamlining the land measurement process. The goal is to make this process more transparent, time-bound, and user-friendly within the state.
The new measures dictate that undisputed land will be measured within seven working days, while disputed land will be completed within 11 days. Additionally, it is now mandatory for survey officials to upload their reports within 14 days of the application. Public feedback on these changes is encouraged until January 25.
