Construction Mishap: Arrests Made in Noida Trench Tragedy
Noida police have arrested two more builders, Ravi Bansal and Sachin Karnwal, in the probe into the death of software engineer Yuvraj Mehta. Mehta drowned after his car plunged into a waterlogged trench. The FIR includes charges of culpable homicide and negligence.

The Noida police have intensified their investigation into the tragic death of Yuvraj Mehta, a 27-year-old software engineer. On Thursday, they arrested two more builders, identified as Ravi Bansal and Sachin Karnwal, in connection with the incident.
Mehta, who was employed in Gurugram, met his demise when his car accidentally drove into a flooded trench near a construction site in Sector 150, Noida. The unfortunate incident occurred during the night of January 16-17, with Mehta reportedly pleading for help for around two hours before succumbing.
The police have lodged an FIR under several sections, including culpable homicide not amounting to murder and causing death by negligence. Previously, they had arrested Abhay Kumar, the director of MZ Wiztown Planners, as part of the same investigation.
