The incident happened on Sunday evening when AIIMS employee Rajshree Soni was on her way to the fourth floor. A masked individual entered the lift simultaneously, and as the doors opened at the destination, the culprits swiftly snatched Soni's chain and fled the scene, according to Misrod Assistant Commissioner of Police Rajneesh Kashyap.

The crime was caught on CCTV, and the footage has since gone viral on social media, prompting widespread attention. Law enforcement officials have contacted AIIMS management as they intensify the hunt for the perpetrator. Meanwhile, they have interviewed the victim as the investigation progresses.
