Mystery Surrounds Death of Overseas Indian in Patna Hotel

Ajay Kumar Sharma, a 76-year-old Indian expatriate from Britain, was discovered dead in his hotel room in Patna's Jakkanpur area, authorities announced on Tuesday.
Station House Officer Rituraj Kumar Singh stated that Sharma had been residing at the hotel since January 18. Hotel staff became concerned when Sharma failed to respond to knocks on his door or phone calls on Monday afternoon. After notifying the police, security personnel broke into the room to find him deceased on the bed.
Forensic analysts collected evidence from the scene, and Sharma's body was sent for post-mortem examination at Patna Medical College and Hospital. No outward signs of injury were found, and a definitive cause of death is anticipated following the examination. Meanwhile, Sharma's family in London has been informed, Singh noted.
