A 42-year-old man, recently released from prison, was tragically discovered hanging from a tree in Patni village on Monday, local police reported. The deceased, identified as Ravindra Sahni, had served two years for the rape of his minor daughter and returned home 11 months prior.
Sahni, embroiled in familial disputes over selling ancestral land, was allegedly involved in a heated argument with his wife on Sunday, after which he left home. His lifeless body was found the following morning, prompting suspicions of possible foul play.
Authorities have been alerted and a forensic team has conducted an initial inspection.
