A dramatic turn of events unfolded in Faridabad as a woman and her lover were arrested for the alleged murder of her husband, Suman, an auto rickshaw driver from Jharkhand. His body was discovered on a railway track in the Mewala Maharajpur area on December 1, 2025, initially thought to be a train accident.
The investigation took a decisive turn on January 18 when the victim's brother, Sunny, filed a missing person report. Police connected the dots, identifying the mutilated body based on the victim's clothing and physical features, pointing to murder. The complainant, Sunny, accused his sister-in-law and her paramour of orchestrating the crime.
Under police scrutiny, Anjani, the wife, and Riazul, her lover, confessed to the brutal act, admitting they killed Suman after he learned of their affair. The duo lured him to the railway area, intoxicated him, and executed their plan. Anjani had fled to Jharkhand but was apprehended upon returning. Both suspects are now in police remand.
