The court criticized shooting accused persons as punishment, stressing judicial authority. Rajbhar highlighted decreased unemployment, linked to government intervention.

Uttar Pradesh Labour and Employment Minister, Anil Rajbhar, emphasized the state government's dedication to maintaining the rule of law in response to the Allahabad High Court's concerns regarding police encounters.

The court had recently highlighted the troubling trend of accused individuals being shot during encounters as a form of punishment, an action it deemed unacceptable, emphasizing that only the judiciary holds the power to punish. Addressing this, Rajbhar clarified that police engage in gunfire solely in self-defense. He assured the public of the administration's commitment to lawful conduct.

Additionally, Rajbhar reported a milestone achievement as Uttar Pradesh's unemployment rate dropped to an unprecedented low, credited to the creation of government jobs and self-employment opportunities since 2017. The minister asserts that these efforts have brought tangible improvements in the employment sector across the state.
