Swift Capture: Gold and Diamond Heist Thief Nabbed Within a Day

A young thief was arrested within 24 hours for stealing gold and diamond ornaments worth Rs 1 crore. The police, led by SP Kumar Sivashish, used CCTV and other evidence to track down 23-year-old Ritik Kumar Singh, recovering 43 stolen items.

In a remarkable display of efficiency, local police apprehended a thief within 24 hours of a heist involving gold and diamond ornaments valued at around Rs 1 crore. The burglary occurred at a locked residence on M E School Road, within the jurisdiction of the Jugsalai police station area.

Senior Superintendent of Police (East Singhbhum), Piyush Pandey, tasked Deputy SP and his team with capturing the culprit. Officers were able to gather critical evidence, including CCTV footage, and utilized the dog squad to expedite the investigation.

The police team's efforts led to the arrest of 23-year-old Ritik Kumar Singh, who confessed to the crime. A total of 43 stolen items, including a variety of gold and diamond jewelry, were successfully recovered, officials disclosed during a press conference.
