In a major breakthrough, security forces have unearthed a Naxalite hideout packed with raw materials used for weapons and explosives manufacturing in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district. The operation, executed on Wednesday by the District Reserve Guard, marked a substantial victory in the fight against Maoist insurgency.
Among the seized items were approximately 1,300 iron pipes, 200 aluminum rods weighing over 1,000 kilograms, and 61 Barrel Grenade Launcher shells, highlighting the scale and capacity of the Naxalite arms production chain. Machinery-related items crucial for weapons making were also found at the site.
This discovery aligns with ongoing efforts like the 'Maad Bachao' campaign, which aims to rid the Bastar region of Naxal influence. With enhanced security measures, including a new camp by the district police and Border Security Force, authorities are reinforcing the region's security grid.
