In a critical security meeting held in Samba district, Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat reviewed the border security scenario alongside senior police and civil administration officials. The deliberations aimed at ensuring heightened vigilance amid ongoing anti-terror operations, officials stated.
The meeting, regarded as highly significant due to prevailing threat perceptions along the border areas, was attended by various district officials, including Samba Deputy Commissioner Ayushi Sudan, Kathua Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma, Samba SSP Virender Manhas, and Kathua SSP Mohita Sharma.
Officials underscored the importance of maintaining robust alertness and preparedness in the border districts to effectively counter potential security challenges and safeguard the region from threats emerging at the frontiers.
