Tragedy Strikes Jani Village: Fatal Gorge Plunge in Kinnaur

An unfortunate car accident in Kinnaur's Jani village resulted in the deaths of four individuals, including a mother and her son. The vehicle veered into a deep gorge, leaving one person critically injured, as confirmed by the local police.
Prompt action by rescue teams and residents helped retrieve the bodies and rescue the wounded individual. The injured person, Vidya Krishan, is currently receiving treatment at JSW Hospital in Tapri.
Kinnaur's Superintendent of Police, Sushil Kumar, reported that the tragedy occurred at around 9.20 am. A post-mortem has been commissioned, with the police registering a case to investigate the incident. In response, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu expressed his condolences and assured full support to the victims' families.
