Tragic Discovery: Man Found Dead in Thane Quarry

A distressing incident unfolded in Thane's Yeoor area on Tuesday when the body of a 30-year-old man was discovered in a water-filled quarry. Identified as Prakash Govind Parmar, he was a resident of Shivai Nagar. Civic officials acted swiftly upon notification, deploying personnel from multiple departments to retrieve the body.
Yasin Tadvi, the chief of the civic disaster management cell, confirmed that teams from the Vartaknagar police station, disaster management cell, disaster response force, and fire and forest departments collaborated to extract the body. The remains were subsequently sent for post-mortem analysis to determine the cause and time of death.
A case of accidental death has been registered, and authorities have launched an investigation to uncover the circumstances that led to this tragic discovery. This includes questioning locals and examining the area for any clues that may shed light on the incident.
