In Uttar Pradesh, the 2026 electoral roll revision registered over 70 lakh claims for voter inclusion and 2.68 lakh objections for name deletions between January 6 and March 6, according to Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa.

Women filed more Form 6 inclusion claims than men, with 35,72,603 women applicants compared to 34,96,911 men. This period also saw 296 claims from third-gender voters. Since the revision announcement on October 27, 2025, the state has received a total of 86,69,073 applications for inclusion.

For name deletions, 2,68,682 Form 7 applications were filed, with a higher deletion rate for male voters than females. The voter data verification process, involving notices to 3.26 crore voters, is 85.8% complete, with hearings facilitated across 5,621 locations and help desks set up to assist voters.
