Tragedy at Sea: Iranian Sailors in Sri Lanka
Following a US torpedo attack on the Iranian ship IRIS Dena, 22 sailors have been discharged and 10 remain hospitalized in Sri Lanka. The country has recovered 84 bodies and is working on repatriation under stringent security, while ensuring adherence to international laws.

At least 22 Iranian sailors from the IRIS Dena have been discharged from the hospital, according to officials on Sunday. They were transferred under heavy security to a facility at Koggala.
Another 10 sailors remain hospitalized in Galle following the torpedo attack by a US submarine, which resulted in the sinking of the frigate off Sri Lanka's southern coast.
The Sri Lankan government is working on the repatriation of 84 bodies to Iran. Meanwhile, survivors from the IRIS Bushehr are being accommodated near Colombo.
