A tragic discovery unfolded near a canal in Ayodhya district as a 26-year-old woman's body was found hanging from a tree. The woman was reportedly married and had left her in-laws' residence after a disagreement, suspected to have occurred just the day before.
Police were alerted on Sunday morning to the grim scene. Officers arrived to find the woman hanging by a noose fashioned from her saree, with part of her body submerged in the canal. Initial assessments by the authorities indicated that there were no visible injuries on the body.
Further investigation revealed the woman was from the Bikapur area and had been married for approximately seven years. The authorities have sent her body for post-mortem examination to verify the cause of death.
