Man Arrested for Heinous Arson Attack Over Scooter Dispute

The accused reportedly visited Sumalatha's Tarabanahalli home, demanding the scooter. When she refused, a heated altercation ensued, involving her parents. In a purported fit of rage, Panduranga allegedly doused them with petrol and set them ablaze.

Authorities confirmed the victims are undergoing treatment for burns at a local hospital. Police arrested the suspect on Sunday, charging him with attempted murder and criminal intimidation under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections. Neighbors had swiftly intervened, taking the victims to the hospital.
