Tragic Incident: Puppy Beaten to Death in Uttar Pradesh Graveyard

In Uttar Pradesh's Shahjahanpur district, five individuals allegedly beat a pet puppy to death after it strayed into a graveyard. A complaint was filed by Jeev Sahayog Foundation prompting police action. Charges were filed under animal cruelty laws as an investigation into this brutal incident begins.

In a distressing turn of events in Uttar Pradesh's Shahjahanpur district, a pet puppy was reportedly beaten to death after straying into a graveyard. Five individuals have been booked over the incident, police confirmed.

The Superintendent of Police, Rajesh Dwivedi, stated that the puppy, belonging to a local named Karan, inadvertently entered the graveyard. Consequently, the suspects began assaulting the animal. Capturing the ordeal on video from a neighbor's rooftop, Karan documented the horrifying sequence of events.

An investigation is now underway following a complaint lodged by the Jeev Sahayog Foundation, charging the accused under relevant sections of the BNS and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.
