On Tuesday, bomb threat emails sent panic through at least five private schools in Gurugram, Haryana, and nine in Ludhiana, Punjab. Despite the anxiety, detailed police checks revealed no signs of explosives.
In response to the threat, police swiftly mobilized to affected school premises in both cities. 'The school premises were sanitized after detailed checks. Nothing suspicious was found,' confirmed a Gurugram police spokesperson via phone.
Authorities, including bomb disposal and dog squads, have intensified their investigation into these threats. Recent months have seen a pattern of similar bomb threats across schools in Haryana, Punjab, and Chandigarh, each proving to be unfounded.
